Hazaribagh, Jharkhand – The Adani Foundation is empowering rural youth through its innovative ‘Shourya Path’ initiative, focused on preparing them for recruitment into armed forces and security agencies. On February 27, 24 handpicked candidates from mining project-impacted villages arrived at Ahmedabad’s Rashtriya Raksha University for an intensive 90-day BSF residential training camp.
Drawing participants from Gondulppara in Jharkhand, alongside Tamna, Purunga, Dhirouli, and Lamatola in neighboring states, the program addresses the aspirations of those dreaming of military careers. Trainees will undergo comprehensive preparation in physical endurance, military discipline, exam strategies for competitive tests, specialized security certifications, and introductory cyber security modules to meet modern challenges.
Community leaders praise the effort, noting it fosters employment prospects and personal growth. ‘Our boys and girls now have a structured path to disciplined lives and honorable jobs,’ remarked a local elder. This builds on Adani Foundation’s ongoing CSR projects like health outreach, educational support, women’s empowerment, water supply enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades in the region.
As India bolsters its security apparatus, initiatives like ‘Shourya Path’ bridge the gap between rural talent and national service, promising a brighter future for participants and their communities alike.
