A major political storm has erupted after Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary labeled the Youth Congress’s AI Summit protest as a sinister plot to besmirch India’s global prestige. Speaking on the arrest of national president Uday Bhanu Chib by Delhi Police, Chaudhary described the demonstration as deeply inappropriate and contrary to national interests.
‘Controlling your organization is the president’s duty,’ Chaudhary remarked, adding that while courts will verify Chib’s presence, the protest’s intent was clear: to harm India’s image abroad. RLM legislator Madhav Anand went further, asserting that such high-stakes actions require Congress high command’s nod, hinting at Rahul Gandhi’s guiding role.
The protest, staged on an international platform, inflicted reputational damage that cannot be ignored, Anand stressed. He called for identifying and punishing all culprits, no matter their influence. Dismissing Imran Masood’s allegations of selective targeting, Anand praised Bihar’s leadership for upholding justice without bias.
‘Our society thrives on social harmony; baseless claims show ignorance,’ he added. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s administration, known for good governance, ensures accountability for the guilty, allies affirmed.
As the controversy simmers, it underscores tensions between ruling coalitions and opposition, with accusations flying over patriotism and political motives. Legal proceedings will test these claims, but the narrative of a ‘conspiracy’ against India has gained traction among NDA supporters.
