Yogi’s mosque‑temple remark sparks JDU rebuttal on religious sites

When Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged that the Samajwadi Party era saw temple donations being diverted to build mosque walls, JDU spokesperson Niroj Kumar responded sharply. He asserted that private funds usually finance mosques, while the state oversees cemetery enclosures. Kumar further accused the Nitish Kumar‑led Bihar government of encroaching on temples, churches, gurdwaras and cemeteries, and said Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary was overseeing those initiatives.
