Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has written an open letter to the children of Uttar Pradesh and their parents, using the summer vacation period to promote deeper family connections and environmental awareness. The message, released from the state capital, blends personal guidance with broader social objectives. In his note to students, the Chief Minister described vacations as a time for joy and self-discovery. He encouraged young readers to step away from screens and instead explore new interests such as learning a musical instrument, trying their hand at cooking, or spending time with good books. These activities, he wrote, help build character and prepare children for future challenges. Turning to parents, Yogi emphasized the fading tradition of grandparents narrating stories to grandchildren. He urged families to organize visits to both sides of the family so that children can absorb values, customs, and oral histories that textbooks cannot fully convey.
