Yogi Adityanath Hears 200 Grievances at Gorakhnath Temple
Gorakhpur, November 2: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath once again met the public at Gorakhnath Temple on Monday morning during his Gorakhpur visit. The Janata Darshan marked the second consecutive day of such interactions, in which he listened to people's problems and assured them of effective solutions.
The Chief Minister took serious note of complaints that some people had submitted false reports on the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) portal. He instructed officials to take stern action against those responsible for filing wrong reports on the IGRS platform.
According to the instructions, every grievance should be addressed with sensitivity and resolved in a timely, transparent manner. Held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at the Gorakhnath Temple premises, the session saw nearly 200 people place their problems before the Chief Minister.
Yogi Adityanath told the people that all their issues would be resolved and that there was no need for anxiety. He handed over the written applications to officials and asked them to ensure that every problem is disposed of promptly, with quality and in a satisfactory manner.
Complaints of forcible land grabbing were also discussed, and the Chief Minister directed strict legal action in such cases. He further ordered that if any victim has been facing persistent difficulties, the matter should be investigated and accountability fixed.
Some people came seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister said that shortage of funds would not be an obstacle to treatment. He asked officials to speed up the preparation of hospital estimates and send them to the government without delay. Adequate money for treatment will be released from the Chief Minister's discretionary fund.
Among the visitors was a differently-abled young woman who explained her family's economic problems and requested job arrangements for her brother, who has passed Intermediate. The Chief Minister directed officials to extend suitable support on this request.
