Yogi Adityanath Hails UP Padma Shri Winners

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to social media to celebrate the Padma Awards conferred upon eight eminent personalities from Uttar Pradesh. Professor Shyam Sundar’s groundbreaking work on kala-azar treatment earned him similar acclaim. Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh’s improved rice strains were credited with boosting farmer incomes and food security. Veteran TB specialist Professor Rajendra Prasad was applauded for saving thousands of lives over five decades. Archaeologist Professor Buddha Rashmi Mani’s efforts to conserve sacred heritage sites drew national praise, and young para-jumper Praveen Kumar’s repeated Paralympic medals were hailed as symbols of determination and excellence for India’s youth.
