Yevla road tragedy: Truck collision kills one, injures another near Pinjar Gali

A deadly road mishap unfolded on October 5 in the Pinjar Gali area of Yevla, Maharashtra. An Ayushman truck, traveling at high speed, collided with a truck that had been left stationary on the Lakshmi Mata to Nagad Darwaza Road. The violent impact sent the parked truck skidding forward, pulling a car that was positioned ahead. The crash resulted in the death of 35‑year‑old Lankesh Ramesh Baghel, a resident of Nagara, who died instantly at the site. Another individual was gravely wounded and transported to Yevla Sub‑District Hospital for treatment. The driver of the speeding truck escaped the scene, prompting a police hunt. Local authorities have noted that illegal parking along this stretch narrows the roadway, creating conditions ripe for such accidents.
