In the lead-up to March 8, a powerhouse gathering of women intellectuals descends on New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan for the ‘Bharati – Nari se Narayani’ national summit. Jointly hosted by Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharatiya Vidvat Parishad, and Sharnya on March 7 and 8, this event channels women’s energy into national progress.

Centered on eight pillars—vidya, mukti, prakriti, siddh, shakti, chetna, sanskriti, and kriti—the conference will brainstorm policies, launch the ‘Bharati’ think-tank, and create sectoral leadership groups. These forums will mentor society, strategize development, network leaders, and blueprint future annual meets.

The core vision? Build bridges for women to connect, innovate solutions, and propel Atmanirbhar Bharat. By uniting diverse voices, the summit identifies hurdles, proposes reforms, forges alliances across government, NGOs, and corporates, and honors success stories reshaping society.

At a press briefing, Rashtra Sevika Samiti’s chief executive Sita Gayatri Andanam called it a ‘confluence of power,’ reigniting women’s intrinsic forces nurtured over nine decades. She invoked three virtues—maternal care extending to society, dutiful action, and bold leadership—as keys to revival.

Dr. Rachna Bajpai lauded the seamless integration of activists into expansive roles. V. Shivani detailed Sanskrit-driven publications like ‘Naribhashita,’ inviting scholars and gurus for holistic education. She linked cultural awakening to curbing violence against women, urging unified societal stands.
