During his tour of the fair, Vice President Radhakrishnan visited stalls showcasing weapons, disaster‑relief equipment, the Ex‑Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), medical examinations, blood‑donation camps, women’s health awareness drives, NCC activities and pension services. He interacted with former service members, beneficiaries and visitors, acknowledging the critical role of women veterans in safeguarding the nation. The Vice President also paid homage to tribal freedom fighters – Birsa Munda, Tilka Manjhi, Sidhu, Kanhu, Neelambar and Peetambar – whose struggle for independence remains a source of inspiration for Jharkhand’s youth.
