Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma outlined a series of state‑level initiatives designed to uplift women’s welfare over the past three and a half years. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandan Yojana, cash assistance was raised from ₹5,000 to ₹6,500 per beneficiary. The Mother Voucher scheme issued 5.74 lakh sonography coupons, while eligible families now receive LPG cylinders at a subsidised price of ₹450.
Education drives include the distribution of 13.85 lakh bicycles to schoolgirls and the award of nearly 46,000 scooters under the Kalibai Higher Education Scooter Scheme and the Devanarayana Student Scooter Scheme. The CM‑led Single Woman Honour Pension Scheme has disbursed a total of ₹8,866 crore to about 1.9 million pensioners.
Additional measures such as the Lado Protsahan Scheme provide a ₹1.5 lakh savings bond to families on the birth of a daughter, and annual 10 % salary increments for Anganwadi workers, assistants, crèche staff and Saathins have been approved. Currently, 1.22 crore women and girls receive free sanitary napkins each month.
