Will the New Ananda Department Change Governance in MP?

Bhopal, July 16 – The creation of an Ananda Department, headed by Lakhann Patel, has drawn scrutiny from opposition parties. Congress' Jeetu Patwari asked the chief minister if the restructuring will address chronic issues in animal husbandry and improve the welfare of cattle farmers.

The CM asserts the department will focus on mental, social and emotional well‑being, a first for any Indian state.
