Wheel construction equipment emerged as the top performer in August, posting a 31.45% jump in retail shipments. Two‑wheelers followed with a 19.69% increase, passenger cars rose 16.14%, and commercial vehicles grew 14.45%. Three‑wheelers added an 8.64% boost, while tractor sales were virtually flat, edging up by just 0.84%. The sector’s diversification helped drive the overall record.
