Kharagpur buzzes with anticipation as BJP’s Dilip Ghosh unveils plans for the ‘Parivartan Yatra’, a statewide mobilization drive to rally support for upcoming assembly polls. ‘Bengal craves change, and this yatra will deliver that message house to house,’ Ghosh proclaimed.
Detailing the blueprint, he noted top BJP brass, including national leaders, will join the procession. Echoing PM Modi’s vision, Ghosh stressed, ‘Give BJP a chance, and we’ll turn Bengal around.’ The campaign launches in Siliguri, traversing northern districts before fanning out to key southern and central regions like Howrah, Hooghly, and Bardhaman. All nine divisions see simultaneous starts, with inaugural rallies on March 1-2 and core marches from March 5-10, averaging 100 km per day.
Shifting gears to international affairs, Ghosh lamented the Iran-Israel flare-up. ‘With Ramadan underway and wars raging worldwide, this violence is profoundly distressing. Peace must prevail,’ he urged.
Tackling electoral integrity, the BJP leader slammed TMC for fake voter proliferation. ‘SIR will cleanse the lists, removing dead voters and phantoms from TMC bastions,’ he claimed, positioning BJP as the champion of clean democracy.
As yatra fever grips Bengal, it underscores BJP’s aggressive strategy to challenge TMC’s dominance. Expect packed roads, fervent speeches, and a narrative of hope versus stagnation. This could redefine the political landscape ahead of elections.
