Weekly ‘One Tree for Mother’ Initiative Marks 31 Consecutive Sundays

Under the banner "Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam Sunday," the NDMC has successfully completed tree‑planting drives for thirty‑one straight Sundays. These weekly campaigns are complemented by additional plantings during national festivals, special occasions and a range of public programs.

The council reports enthusiastic participation from Resident Welfare Associations, Market Traders Associations, schools, institutions and local residents, turning the campaign into a genuine example of community involvement in environmental stewardship.
