Criticism of water projects and alleged corruption in PM Modi's schemes

The MP accused the central leadership of allowing corrupt practices in water‑related schemes. He claimed that the large tanks installed under the Jal Jeevan Mission have become "hubs of graft" and that the promised doorstep water supply has not reached many households.

He pointed out that several villages now rely on hand‑pumps, which he said were allegedly rejected by the Prime Minister, causing inconvenience to residents. Prasad warned that the central government will be compelled to investigate the irregularities once it assumes control, and those responsible will be held accountable.
