At the prestigious India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic showered praise on India’s AI initiatives, congratulating the hosts on what he called a ‘highly successful’ gathering. His remarks spotlighted India’s bold investments in foundational AI technologies, from expansive data centers to advanced computing resources—a model even smaller nations like Serbia are emulating.
Vucic remarked, ‘AI has become a top topic in both traditional media and social networks, which is a huge achievement in itself.’ He viewed the summit as a prime opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration, essential for building a safe AI landscape and tackling worldwide challenges. PM Modi’s keynote was described as deeply motivational.
The event also featured a key bilateral meeting between PM Modi and President Vucic. According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal’s social media update, the duo assessed progress in bilateral relations and charted paths forward.
Focus areas included boosting cooperation in trade, investment, artificial intelligence, fintech, education, agriculture, tourism, and interpersonal exchanges. Conversations extended to regional stability and global affairs, with both leaders reiterating the time-honored bond between their nations, sustained by vibrant people-to-people links.
This five-day extravaganza boasted representation from more than 110 nations and 30 global bodies, with around 20 heads of state and 45 ministers in attendance. By advancing AI under the ethos of ‘AI for Humanity’ and India’s ‘Sarva Jan Hitaya, Sarva Jan Sukhaya,’ the summit signals a fortified strategic alliance between India and Serbia, promising mutual growth.
