Violent Dispute Over Garba Decorations Escalates to Home Invasion in Madhya Pradesh

A seemingly minor disagreement over Garba decorations in Indore’s Rajendra Nagar area spiraled into a night‑time home invasion on October 9. Suresh, an auto driver living in Scheme 103, placed a banner for a mother’s chowki and Garba event. Local youths objected, and the argument quickly turned into a physical fight. Suresh was hit with a stick, and when his wife Sapna, mother‑in‑law Dwarikabai, and relative Rohit tried to stop the violence, they were also assaulted. The attackers broke into the house, dragged out Suresh’s sons Vikas and Akash, and beat them. Police responded swiftly, arresting five suspects and continuing investigations.
