Vice President and state leaders also mourn Bhivandi disaster

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan took to the social media platform X to express his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the Bhivandi collapse. He reiterated his prayers for a speedy recovery of the injured. Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also posted on X, labeling the incident as "deeply tragic" and ordered an immediate FIR and strict action against those responsible. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the site, spoke with District Collector and the city commissioner, and urged accelerated rescue and medical efforts. He confirmed that the injured are being treated at M.G.M. Hospital and, if necessary, will be shifted to private facilities.
