Vibrant Gujarat 2027 Promotion at Toronto Round‑Tables

As part of the Gujarat delegation’s North‑American tour, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel led two pivotal round‑table sessions in Toronto on August 25. The first forum gathered nearly thirty representatives of the Toronto Indian Association (TAI), an organization that has, since its inception in 2000, served as a bridge between Canadian enterprises and international innovators.

Patel detailed Gujarat’s strategic roadmap for constructing a globally competitive innovation economy. He emphasized cooperation in sectors such as technology, public policy, financial services and fintech, inviting Canadian entrepreneurs to explore investment and scaling opportunities in the state’s thriving startup ecosystem.

The second meeting, hosted by the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce, focused on the chamber’s prospective involvement in Vibrant Gujarat 2027. Patel expressed optimism that the dialogue would pave the way for new B2B linkages, joint projects and a deeper economic partnership between Gujarat and Canada. Accompanying officials included Chief Secretary M.K. Das, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) T. Natarajan, Additional Chief Secretary (Industry & Minerals) Mamata Verma and senior secretaries of the delegation.
