VHP Spokesperson Calls for Unity, Warns Against Misinformation on Ram Temple

Surendra Jain, spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad, addressed the media after the trust’s meeting, describing the gathering as highly amicable. He warned that any effort to spread false narratives or create divisions around the Ram Temple issue would be rejected by the Hindu community.

Jain emphasized that the trust’s investigation is moving in the right direction and urged anyone with documents, facts or evidence to present them to the investigating authorities rather than fueling public confusion. He highlighted that the trust’s assets, including jewellery offered by devotees, are fully secured in government‑regulated vaults.

The VHP also praised the formation of a Search Committee led by Justice Pramod Kohli, which will seek a full‑time CEO to ensure efficient administration. Jain noted that devotees continue to flock to the temple in large numbers, reflecting confidence in the trust’s handling of the matter.

He added that the transparency demonstrated by the trust, especially the willingness to invite SIT scrutiny, sets a precedent not commonly seen in Indian politics.
