VHP calls for inquiry into Delhi gym trainer murder case

New Delhi, August 28 – Speaking at a press briefing, VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal described the killing of a young woman in Delhi as a "deeply painful" incident that requires a thorough probe. The victim reportedly refused a marriage proposal, after which a gym trainer allegedly lured her to his facility and killed her.

Bansal urged law enforcement agencies to go beyond the immediate arrest of the trainer and examine any possible collusion or conspiratorial elements that may have facilitated the crime. He emphasized that justice cannot be achieved unless every facet of the case, including any external influences, is meticulously investigated.

The VHP’s statement also highlighted the need for transparent police action, calling for regular updates to the public and urging the judiciary to expedite the legal process. The organization pledged its support to the victim’s family and called on political leaders to refrain from politicising the tragedy while ensuring that the perpetrators are fully held accountable.
