VHP Criticises Congress Leader for Questioning Existence of ‘Hindu’ in Scriptures

Vinod Bansal, the VHP’s national voice, criticized Digvijay Singh’s claim that the term “Hindu” is absent from religious scriptures. Bansal argued that rejecting the word while identifying with Sanatan Dharma is contradictory. He called on Singh to issue a public apology and to state clearly whether he considers himself a Hindu. The spokesperson also accused the Congress of repeatedly making statements against Hindutva.
