Veteran volunteers mark 101st year with vibrant march in Vishwanath Chariali
Vishwanath Chariali turned into a hub of enthusiasm on Saturday as the RSS staged a special march‑past to celebrate its entry into the 101st year. Hundreds of long‑standing volunteers, many of whom joined in the early 1970s, participated in the well‑coordinated procession.
The event coincided with Mahalaya and Vijayadashami, two important cultural observances, further amplifying the festive atmosphere. Organisers stressed that the centenary year is a moment for reflection on the organization’s growth since its inception in 1925.
One veteran recounted his 55‑year journey with the RSS, recalling a personal meeting with senior mentors in 1972. The march concluded with a unified call for all Hindus across the globe to stand together as one.
