Military heritage monument ‘Sainik Dham’ to honor Uttarakhand’s war heroes

The construction of ‘Sainik Dham’ in Dehradun is now complete and inauguration preparations are underway. The memorial, built to commemorate the state’s fallen soldiers, houses soil collected from the homes and courtyards of the martyrs, symbolising their enduring link to the land. Panels showcasing stories of bravery are displayed throughout the site, turning it into an educational hub that inspires the younger generation while preserving the legacy of Uttarakhand’s military heritage.
