Rain, Strong Winds and Snow Predicted Across Uttarakhand for Next Five Days

The state meteorological office projects light to moderate rainfall across most districts of Uttarakhand for the next five days. In addition, areas situated at 4,200 metres and above are likely to receive snowfall, which could cause a rapid fall in temperature in high‑altitude zones. The combination of rain, strong winds, and possible snow will increase the likelihood of landslides, road slip and power line disruptions, especially in mountainous terrain.
