Uttarakhand Chief Highlights Mystical Kartik Swami Temple

On October 7, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, posted a video on X praising the Kartik Swami Temple. He described the shrine as a divine sanctuary dedicated to Kartikeya, the eldest son of Shiva and Parvati, nestled among towering Himalayan peaks. Dhami emphasized the site’s blend of faith, pristine nature and regional culture, urging travellers to include the temple in their Rudraprayag itinerary.

The minister’s remarks underscored the temple’s role in enriching the state’s spiritual heritage, noting that the tranquil alpine environment and the lingering presence of the deity’s bone relics make it a unique destination for seekers of both natural beauty and religious experience.
