UPSC Publishes Outcome of May 2026 Civil Service Exams

On July 7, the Union Public Service Commission released the results of its May 2026 recruitment examinations. The results are now accessible on the commission’s official website and eligible candidates have also been notified by post.

The recruitment drive encompassed a diverse list of posts, including Scientist ‘B’ (Ballistics) for the Central Forensic Science Laboratory and the Forensic Science Service Directorate, Ministry of Home Affairs; Research Officer (Naturopathy) in the Ministry of AYUSH; Senior Assistant Controller of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines; Legal Officer (Grade‑I), Legal & Treaties Division, Ministry of External Affairs; Scientist Officer (Chemical) at the National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs; Civil Hydrographic Officer and Junior Technical Officer at Naval Headquarters, Defence Ministry; Specialist Grade‑III Assistant Professors (Biochemistry, Microbiology/Bacteriology, Neurosurgery) in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering) at the Central Soil and Materials Research Station, Ministry of Jal Shakti; Training Officer (Draftsman Civil) excluding women’s training, Ministry of Skill Development; Divisional Medical Officer (ENT) and Committee Medical Officer (Psychiatry) in the Ministry of Railways; Dialysis Medical Officer in Health and Family Welfare; Junior Scientific Officer (Ballistics) in the Forensic Science Laboratories; Assistant Director of Mines Safety (Occupational Health) Grade‑I, Mines Safety Directorate; Specialist Grade‑II (Junior Scale) Gynaecology, New Delhi Municipal Council; Assistant Professors (Plant Science) and (Jurisprudence) at Jawahar Lal Nehru Rajkiya College, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The commission affirmed that while all applications were examined with due diligence, only the candidates meeting the required qualifications were shortlisted for interviews or appointments.
