In a blistering critique, BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok on Sunday lambasted UP’s previous regimes, branding opposition parties as insatiable looters who stunted the state’s growth for nearly three decades. During an IANS interview, he highlighted how SP, BSP, and Congress’s 27-year reign relegated UP to near-bottom in national development rankings.
‘History doesn’t lie,’ Alok declared. ‘They bled UP dry and damaged India’s reputation. But under BJP’s eight-year stewardship in UP and at the Center, the state has rocketed to the top trio in key sectors like investments, infra, security, and employment. India now boasts a top-four global economy—all thanks to our development-first mantra, not plunder.’
Dismissing opposition as ‘political wolves trapped in their pillage legacy,’ Alok said public awareness has dawned. ‘People know their true colors.’
Turning to Youth Congress’s topless antics at the AI India Impact Summit, he quipped, ‘Congress is already bare, per PM Modi. This stunt screams frustration and ideological void.’
With biting humor, he likened them to disruptive celebrants who bare all for attention. ‘Negativity and drama define them now—no vision for progress.’
Addressing the FIR on Swami Avimukteshwaranand, Alok stressed, ‘It’s pure legal procedure post-court directive. Investigation follows; politicizing it is needless.’
Alok’s offensive paints a stark before-and-after: opposition’s dark era versus BJP’s golden age, positioning UP as a development beacon.
