UP Launches Sardar Patel Skill Yojana With Company Placements
Uttar Pradesh has launched a new skill development programme for its youth, with direct job placement in companies as a key feature, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak announced on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary.
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Skill Development Yojana will train young people across the state. Those who complete training will be placed directly in companies for employment. Several companies have signed MoUs to take part in the scheme.
Pathak said the state government had introduced the scheme on the auspicious day of Sardar Patel's birth anniversary. He said the initiative would reach youth in every part of the state, and that trainees from training centres would secure jobs through company placements.
He noted that MoUs had been signed with multiple companies for this purpose. He conveyed his good wishes to the youth of the state and thanked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the initiative.
Pathak said that the true way to pay tribute to Sardar Patel was for the youth of Uttar Pradesh and the country to join hands with India's unity and integrity and contribute to a developed India.
In a sharp attack on the opposition, the Deputy Chief Minister said the Congress in Uttar Pradesh had run out of issues. He claimed that the Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the INDIA bloc wanted to carry out undemocratic activities and disturb the state and the nation. He said Prime Minister Modi had pledged a developed India and Uttar Pradesh was progressing rapidly, while the opposition saw only negativity.
He urged the opposition to contest elections and talk directly to voters. According to Pathak, the agitations were aimed at keeping them in the news. He also said that after the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, when the BJP forms the government for a third time, these groups would not be able to stage a single protest.
Pathak alleged that the opposition was issuing various statements to mislead people and conceal its face in the face of a likely defeat. He asserted that the BJP would come to power in Uttar Pradesh in 2027 with a huge majority and that 25 crore people of the state had already decided to remove goons and mafia from the state.
BJP MLC and former Maharashtra minister Parinay Phuke also commented on the matter. He said the Constitution had created Parliament and the Lok Sabha so that opposition parties could raise their issues there, and that they were free to protest within those limits. He said Rahul Gandhi's efforts to push impeachment on the streets were against the Constitution, and accused him of creating an anti-constitutional atmosphere in the country.
Phuke also said a narrative was being spread that constitutional institutions were either useless or doing wrong. He alleged that repeated accusations against these institutions by Rahul Gandhi were aimed at reducing public trust in the Constitution and those institutions. He claimed Gandhi was attempting to replace the Constitution with communist ideology, which he said was the reason behind the impeachment moves and agitations.
On Rahul Gandhi's red flag remark, Phuke said a World Bank report had come out the previous day showing that 50.6 crore people had risen above the poverty line. He credited this to the nationalist government in the country, which he said had been running under Prime Minister Modi's leadership for the past 12 years.
Phuke said the government was guided by the idea of Integral Humanism and that schemes were reaching every poor person. He said employment was being extended to the last person in villages, and that Modi had been working for 12 years to ensure every person gets work. He called it an RSS idea behind the large-scale rise above the poverty line, and said the World Bank report was a strong slap to leaders like Rahul Gandhi.
