UP‑Japan Investment Summit Highlighted by Minister Rajbhar Amid Political Tensions

Minister O.P. Rajbhar used the platform of the Uttar Pradesh‑Japan investment conference to underscore the state’s development agenda, despite the ongoing controversy surrounding the night‑time meeting of Yogi Adityanath with Akhilesh and Shivpal Yadav.

“The presence of a Japanese delegation on August 21, and the accompanying ‘Atithi Bhoj’, reinforce our commitment to creating jobs and providing essential inputs—fertiliser, seed, water—to our farmers,” Rajbhar said. He added that the summit would proceed irrespective of political rivalries, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a hub for foreign capital.

The minister also reiterated that both the state and the central government, whether led by Yogi or Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are focused on economic growth and youth employment.
