UP Development Milestones and CM Yogi's Message Before Summit

Lucknow: As the two-day Regional Sadhana Series-2026 gets underway in the state capital on Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has outlined the government's record in Uttar Pradesh. He also launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party government.

In an X post, the Chief Minister stated that administration proves its worth through the positive change it brings to people's lives. He emphasised that government employees are the key drivers of this change. When the administrative machinery is skilled, empathetic and answerable, government schemes reach the person at the very end of the chain, and the pledge of good governance becomes a reality in the form of public welfare.

He said that before the year 2017, the state government's sick mentality, familyism, appeasement and the priority given to corruption had seriously weakened administrative competence, operational efficiency and the work culture of the state. Crime, mafia rule, policy indifference and an identity crisis had, in his words, cast a shadow over the immense promise of Uttar Pradesh.

Adityanath pointed out that the double engine government, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is bringing a fresh direction to the administrative work culture of the nation through initiatives like Mission Karmayogi. In the last nine and a half years, he said, Uttar Pradesh has eliminated its BIMARU image and made a landmark journey from a bottleneck state to a breakthrough state.

The Chief Minister added that the state is restructuring its administrative, economic and institutional framework and is setting new benchmarks of development at a rapid pace.

The Regional Sadhana Series-2026 begins on Friday in Lucknow in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Jitendra Singh. Eight states and four Union Territories are participating in the two-day event.

Adityanath said Karmayogi Uttar Pradesh is fully dedicated to the spirit of minimum government and maximum governance, to the vision of Antyodaya, and to leading the effort to build a Viksit Bharat. He extended heartfelt good wishes to everyone for the success of Sadhana Series-2026.
