State Pushes Dairy Schemes to Reach All 75 Districts

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya directed officials to scale the dairy initiative to every village in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized simplifying registration, documentation and grant disbursement so that more women, farmers and young entrepreneurs can join the program.

A dual‑awareness campaign will be launched at the gram‑panchayat level to inform eligible households about the benefits of the dairy scheme. The administration has also promised full departmental support for applicants, ensuring that procedural hurdles do not deter participation.

If fully implemented, the scheme could double the current milk output, further strengthening the rural economy and creating new jobs in collection, transport and processing.
