In a bold push for educational reform, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday unveiled a futuristic secondary school at Jan Bhawan in Lucknow. ‘Jo dikhega wahi bikega’ – what is visible will gain acceptance in society – he proclaimed, advocating for visually appealing and modern school models statewide.
The inauguration marks a milestone in UP’s education landscape, with Yogi hailing the facility as a ‘pathbreaking and emulable model.’ He instructed authorities to replicate it province-wide, arguing that robust, contemporary buildings are essential for creating conducive learning atmospheres and delivering top-tier education.
Built at a cost of over Rs 5 crore – primarily funded by the state with supplementary CSR and gubernatorial support – the school boasts advanced features. Yogi lauded the Governor’s initiative and urged its integration into CM Composite Schools, while ordering tours for district officials to study the setup.
The CM appreciated Jan Bhawan’s vibrant ecosystem, where sports, arts, and creative pursuits nurture students’ multifaceted growth. He celebrated the landmark participation of Raj Bhawan’s Jan Bhawan team in the Republic Day parade.
Invoking timeless Sanskrit wisdom, Yogi stressed education’s role as the ultimate enabler: ‘Every individual holds potential; education provides the direction.’ He regaled the audience with tales of India’s scientific luminaries – Aryabhata’s astronomical revolutions, Varahamihir’s skyward insights, Sushruta’s surgical innovations blending ancient and modern medicine, Charaka’s scientific framing of Ayurveda, Bose’s botanical life discoveries, and Raman’s light spectroscopy breakthrough.
This clarion call positions Uttar Pradesh at the forefront of educational innovation, blending heritage with modernity to forge a brighter future for its students.
