In a powerful address from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reiterated the state’s resolve to remain riot-free. Inaugurating key infrastructure projects like the Nakha Railway Overbridge and Khajanchi Flyover, he stated that the era of rioters and their backers enjoying easy livelihoods is over, replaced by opportunities for the genuine youth.
Yogi painted a vivid picture of UP’s renaissance: from sickness to breakthrough, and now to a redefined identity. ‘Family dynasties and caste mongers can’t stomach this new Uttar Pradesh,’ he asserted.
He targeted the former enablers of chaos, saying those who fawned over rioters are now unsettled as their patronage-based income vanishes. The government has channeled resources into youth employment, both in public sector jobs and by fostering massive investments.
‘Security and infrastructure attract investment,’ Yogi explained. ‘Skill development ensures jobs stay local.’ The Rs 45 lakh crore investment pipeline translates to jobs for 1.5 crore-plus youth, a testament to the double-engine government’s success since 2017.
Before 2017, UP was synonymous with dread, riots, and insecurity for women and businesses. Caste-driven politics toyed with youth aspirations. Now, Gorakhpur shines with premium highways, advanced medical facilities, AIIMS, and expressway links, symbolizing progress under PM Modi’s vision.
