UP CM Yogi Says Divisive Politics Threatens National Progress

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that some politically motivated forces with a narrow outlook are plotting to plunge the country into instability, anarchy and separatism to serve their own interests. He made the remarks while opposition parties continue to stage protests.

The Chief Minister said India remains committed to its development goals and is moving forward despite these difficulties. He cited the country's growing economic strength as evidence of the progress achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a post on X on Sunday morning, Adityanath wrote that India has written a new chapter in its economic power on the world stage. He said the nation is now a leader among the world's fastest-growing major economies and is establishing fresh standards in self-reliance, innovation and growth.

He further stated that with a nation-first approach, India's democracy has become stronger in the New India. According to him, policymaking revolves around the common citizen, poverty alleviation is a key priority of governance, and the Antyodaya concept is the foundation of self-reliance. Public participation, he added, is giving development the shape of a people's movement.

Adityanath said that in a New India rooted in faith, identity and confidence, the potential of social justice, women's empowerment, digital innovation and economic prosperity is being realised. This journey, he added, is turning public aspirations into real opportunities and continuously strengthening the nation's capabilities.

He contrasted India's position with that of countries where violence and instability persist, saying India is steadily advancing with democratic stability, economic progress and cultural awareness. At this juncture, he alleged, some narrow-minded political forces are trying to harm India's image on global platforms while ignoring national interests.

The Chief Minister also said Uttar Pradesh is accelerating progress in agriculture, industry, infrastructure, investment and job creation. He stated that the state is playing a significant role in building a 'Viksit Bharat' by using its agricultural strength, growing industrial base, modern infrastructure and youth potential.

Adityanath concluded by saying, 'Our resolve is firm: national interest comes first, national unity remains intact and the pace of development will not stop. With the spirit of nation first, this grand yajna of India's progress will continue without end.'
