Union Must Intervene in Kaveri Water Clash, Says MP P. Santosh

Communist leader P. Santosh addressed the Kaveri water conflict on August 13, insisting that the central government cannot stay a mere observer.

He argued that the dispute, which pits Tamil Nadu against Kerala and Karnataka, threatens national harmony if not handled promptly. Santosh appealed for honest and earnest talks among the states, trusting in their capable leadership.

The MP also criticized attempts by certain groups to manipulate the situation, likening it to fishing in polluted water, and called for a united effort to safeguard the nation’s unity.
