The National Testing Agency, which conducts the test, has moved the deadline to 11:50 PM on October 31. The extension is meant for candidates who have not yet finished their application process.

More than 8.78 lakh candidates have registered for the December 2026 cycle so far. Among them, over 6.92 lakh have completed fee payment.

Online applications opened on October 8. The deadline was earlier set for 11:50 PM on October 28 and has now been revised to October 31 at the same time of day.

Candidates must pay category-wise fees online. The fee is Rs 1,150 for General and Unreserved candidates, Rs 600 for General-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs 325 for SC, ST, PwD and Third Gender candidates.
