Two Sikh Officials Ousted After Sexual Misconduct Claims

Alongside Amarjit Singh Chawla, the Akal Takht also expelled its additional head Granthi, Malkeet Singh, over accusations of sending obscene messages to a woman. Both officials have received a lifetime ban from serving in any Sikh body, Gurudwara committees, or religious forums. The Takht has instructed the Sikh community to avoid any religious, social, or political association with the two men.
