Two Killed in Vaishali Road Feud; Police Launch Manhunt

The dispute over a rural pathway in the Rajasan ward of Bidupur tehsil escalated into a fatal encounter on 12 July. Initial reports indicated that the argument had been brewing for months, with a brief scuffle reported on Saturday night. When the parties faced each other again on Sunday, gunfire erupted. The victims were identified as Munaric Rai, a local farmer, and his son Private Jitendra Kumar of the Indian Army. Both were declared dead after being shifted to a district hospital. The police have listed several suspects and are conducting house‑to‑house searches, while the community remains on edge.
