TVK’s Victory Conference Expected Early Next Year, Details Pending

Tamilga Veeratha Kazhagam (TVK) is reportedly set to hold its third state‑wide conference in either Tiruchirappalli or Tirunelveli, with plans already in motion. The event is expected to be a showcase of the party’s recent electoral success and the consolidation achieved under Chief Minister Vijay.

Party insiders suggest the gathering could be slated for the opening months of the next calendar year and may be marketed as a "Victory Conference". No official confirmation on venue, dates or a detailed programme has been released to the public.

The initiative follows TVK’s recent wins in the Madurantakam and Dharapuram legislative by‑elections, which bolstered party confidence after a strong performance in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections earlier this year.

Vijay, a celebrated film star turned leader, launched TVK in 2024. The first state conference was staged in Vikaravandi, drawing massive youth participation. A second conference in Madurai later that year further cemented the party’s organisational network across Tamil Nadu.

Within two years of formation, TVK contested the assembly polls, secured a sizeable victory, formed the government and installed Vijay as chief minister. The upcoming third conference is expected to merge the celebration of the party’s third anniversary, election victories and Vijay’s birthday.

Specifics about the agenda, guest speakers and logistical arrangements remain under discussion. No formal schedule has been published as of now.

At the same time, TVK is gearing up for its annual award ceremony honoring top‑scoring students in Classes 10 and 12. The practice, continued from the earlier Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, has been organised at district level in recent years. District secretaries have begun groundwork for this year’s ceremony, which will provide another platform for youth outreach as the party prepares for its major state event.
