In a pointed critique, BJP spokesperson Tuhin Sinha accused DMK chief MK Stalin of plotting to install his son Udhayanidhi as Tamil Nadu’s next Chief Minister, amid rising public outrage over governance failures. Speaking to media in Mumbai, Sinha detailed how law enforcement has collapsed, women’s safety is at risk, drug cartels are destroying the youth, and joblessness is at alarming levels—all under the DMK-led coalition.
‘Tamil Nadu’s people are seething with anger against this alliance,’ Sinha stated. He emphasized apprehensions about Stalin’s family-first agenda, referencing Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s direct challenges for clarity on Udhayanidhi’s future role and DMK’s commitment to merit over nepotism. Stalin’s evasion of these queries only fuels the fire, according to Sinha.
Sinha linked this discontent to Kerala’s recent high voter turnout, a clear expression of frustration with non-BJP regimes not delivering on promises. He forecasted that Tamil Nadu voters would echo this sentiment on polling day, decisively rejecting Stalin’s leadership.
On West Bengal’s electoral battle, Sinha framed it as fear versus faith: TMC’s intimidation tactics pitted against BJP’s reliable assurances. With the BJP manifesto promising economic revival and safety, Sinha is optimistic that public trust will prevail.
