Trivedi Highlights Lack of Women Ministers in Congress‑Run States

Trivedi also raised the issue of gender representation in states ruled by the Congress party. He pointed out that in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka there are no women ministers, while Kerala has only two and Telangana had two before one was removed. Summarising the figures, he said, "Four Congress governments and just three women ministers – a clear injustice."

He added that senior Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, remain silent on the matter, portraying a reluctance to empower women in the political arena.
