Trinamool Panchayat chief Bhadu Shek killing investigation sees fugitive nabbed after two years

Bhadu Shek, a grassroots leader of the Trinamool Congress, was shot dead on March 21, 2022 in the Bogtui area of Birbhum, West Bengal. After the incident, an FIR was registered on March 22, 2022. The accused, Masad Shek, evaded police for more than two years, refusing to cooperate with any judicial processes. The CBI’s recent operation, based on human intelligence and technological surveillance, resulted in his arrest in Mumbai's Vary Port. He will now be handed over to the appropriate judicial authority in Kolkata.
