The Nagaon by‑election has turned into a three‑cornered battle. BJP candidate Debashish Sharma cast his vote at Mayong Higher Secondary School and appealed to citizens to protect democracy by voting. Congress hopeful Sibamoni Bora, after voting at Jajori Majgaon, expressed confidence of victory and promised support from both minority and majority communities. AIUDF leader Badaruddin Ajmal is also campaigning vigorously. Several state legislators, including RAMAKANT DEURI and NURUL HUDA, have already voted at their respective schools.
