Tragedy in Delhi: 21‑year‑old Arpit Jaj and 19‑year‑old Akshat Yadav Die

The sudden collapse of a residential building in Delhi’s Satyaniketan neighbourhood has left two families devastated. Arpit Jaj, a 21‑year‑old B.Com second‑year student from Devas, and Akshat Yadav, a 19‑year‑old first‑year commerce student from Katni, were both pursuing higher education in the capital when the incident occurred. Friends received confirmation of the tragedy only late in the evening, after the building fell during the day. Their deaths have sparked grief across their hometowns and renewed calls for stricter building safety checks.
