Traffic Diversions Planned as Rajnath Singh Arrives in Noida for Inauguration

Noida — The arrival of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on August 22 will trigger a series of traffic management actions across the city. The minister’s schedule involves inaugurating a private laboratory in Sector‑75 and attending a ceremony at the Indira Gandhi Art Centre in Sector‑6.

To accommodate the VIP convoy, the Noida traffic department has laid out a diversion blueprint affecting several arterial roads. Vehicles approaching the art centre will be rerouted through designated side streets, and signal timings have been adjusted to facilitate smoother flow.

Motorists are urged to plan extra travel time, especially those heading toward the venue between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Police units will be stationed at critical junctions to guide traffic and enforce compliance. Any deviation from the prescribed routes may result in temporary stoppages.
