TPCR 2025: Ministry of Defence Releases Roadmap Detailing Military Needs for the Next 15 Years

Amidst escalating global challenges and fluctuating relations with neighboring countries, India is focused on fortifying its military capabilities. The Ministry of Defence has released the Technology Perspective and Capability Roadmap (TPCR-2025), a booklet outlining the future requirements and technological direction of the Indian armed forces. This booklet serves as a blueprint for the armed forces' capacity building and technological advancement over the next 15 years.

Previous versions of the TPCR were issued in 2013 and 2018. This third edition, TPCR-2025, provides detailed information on the needs associated with land warfare, the air force, the navy, and joint technologies.
