TMC MP Says BJP Outreach Committee Won’t Influence Jadavpur Incident

Commenting on the formation of a special outreach committee by the BJP under its national president Nitin Nirav, Saugata Roy dismissed the move as inconsequential for the Jadavpur University episode. He asserted that the committee’s purpose is to tighten contacts with the Janata Dal (Grand) but will have no impact on the ground reality.

Roy stressed that the BJP cannot rely on such committees to restore confidence after the violent clash between ABVP and SFI supporters that injured multiple students on the campus.
