Tiwari’s Exit Highlights Internal Friction Within RJD

Patna, July 17 – The Rashtriya Janata Dal suffered a notable setback as its spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari submitted a resignation from all party roles. The move, he said, stemmed from a breach of respect that made his continued association untenable.

Tiwari emphasized a history of unwavering dedication to the party’s cause, noting that an erosion of respect harms not just the individual but the entire organization. He claimed to have raised the issue with senior leadership, including former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, without receiving a satisfactory response.

"When respect disappears, there is no point in staying," Tiwari declared, adding that his patience had finally been exhausted. He refuted any accusations of indiscipline, insisting his record remains spotless and that any damage to the party’s reputation would have been widely reported.

The resignation brings to light simmering discord within the RJD hierarchy and may signal deeper challenges in managing senior cadres.
