Tiwari says women reservation should not depend on delimitation process

Manish Tiwari also questioned the government’s decision to link the implementation of women’s reservation to the pending delimitation exercise. He pointed out that the Women Reservation Bill has already cleared Parliament and should be applied to the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats. "If the government truly wants to reserve one‑third of seats for women, it can do so now, without waiting for new boundaries," he asserted.
